Chum Rush privacy policy

What we collect

• A random player ID made on your device so your progress, scores and purchases stay with you. We never ask for your real name.
• The nickname you choose, shown on leaderboards.
• Gameplay info: levels, scores, play time and which features you use, so we can balance the game.
• Device info: device type, language, app version and error reports when something breaks.
• Your country, worked out from your internet address or your device's time zone, to show prices in your currency. We do not keep your internet address; only a scrambled form of it, to stop abuse.
• Purchases: what you bought and when. In the iPhone app, payment is handled by Apple; we never see your card. On the website, payment is handled by Flutterwave and you may give an email for your receipt.
• Notifications: if you allow them, a delivery address for your device.

Ads and cookies on the website

On chumrush.app we show ads served by Google, including optional ads you can choose to watch for a reward such as an extra life. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technology to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.

• You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or turn off many third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The game also saves your progress and settings in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads in the iPhone app at this time.

How long we keep it

We keep game data while you play. If you stop playing, it may be deleted after 24 months.

Children

Chum Rush is a family-friendly game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the game data above.

Your choices

You can change your nickname in Settings, reset your scores in Settings, and turn notifications off in your device settings. To have all your game data deleted, contact us at info@chumrush.app with your player nickname.
