Meet the Chums
Chum Rush has five jelly heroes, each with their own colour, face, voice and attitude. They talk while you play, cheer your big pops and panic when you run low on moves.

Zara
Fiery. Never backs down.
Zara is the red Chum with a little flame on her head, and she is the boldest of the five. She loves big explosions and talks a lot of trash to King Grump. When a bomb goes off near her, you can usually hear her cheering. Zara was the first Chum, and the others look up to her even if they will never admit it.

Bubu
Always smiling. Always hungry.
Bubu is the round yellow Chum, the friendliest face on the board and the most food-obsessed. Most of his lines are about snacks, cake, or the snacks King Grump stole. Whenever a piñata shows up, Bubu is sure there is cake inside.

Kiko
Grows on you. Literally.
Kiko is the green Chum with two leaves sprouting from her head. She is calm, a little cheeky, and happiest when you pop lots of Kikos at once. Many early levels ask you to collect Kikos, and she takes that as a compliment.

Nimo
Shy, but makes the biggest splash.
Nimo is the blue water-drop Chum. He is nervous about almost everything, especially being popped, and he worries out loud. But he means well, and a big blue group can turn a hard level around.

Pip
Trouble in a tiny package.
Pip is the purple Chum with little horns and a mischievous grin. Pip is the joker of the group and loves to stir things up. If something on the board explodes for no reason, everyone looks at Pip first.
King Grump, the villain
King Grump is the grey, crowned grump who stole the Chums’ snacks. He shows up at the end of every world, sitting at the bottom of the board with a health bar over his head. You beat him by popping groups right next to him until his health hits zero. He is loud and rude, and he does not like losing. Lightning and rockets are very good at hitting him from far away.
The Chums talk
Every Chum has a real voice. They react to what happens on the board: big combos, power Chums, golden pops, close calls and wins. Tap a Chum on the home screen and it will say hi. You can turn voices off in Settings if you prefer to play quietly.
Outfits and new Chums
In the shop you can unlock outfits for each Chum and new characters who take a colour’s place on the board. They play the same, but they look and sound different, so you can make the board your own.
The worlds
Adventure takes the Chums through a long trip of themed worlds, ten levels each, and the scenery changes as you go. The first four are hand-made:
- Chum Valley: where it all starts. Learn goo, crates and powers, then face King Grump for the first time.
- Fizzy Falls: baby Chums and chained Chums arrive.
- Volcano Party: hotter boards and harder goals.
- Starry Space: the Chums go to space.
After that the trip goes on through places like Candy Caverns, Jelly Jungle, Frosty Peaks, Neon Night Market, Thunder Clouds, Bubble Reef, Pop Desert, Haunted Funhouse, Crystal Mines, Grump Castle, Robot Factory, Pirate Cove, Dino Valley, Cloud Kingdom and Disco Planet.
